Argentina is one of the early adopter markets for serialisation/traceability, starting in 2011 with a limited set of products and an incremental roll-out leading to full E2E Medicines Traceability infrastructure.
Initial requirements included Data Standard Guidance followed by full Item Level Serialisation and data reporting to the central system.
Additional requirement to include GTIN on invoice issued by Argentinian Tax Authorities in Jan 2016.
